Best dog I ever had was a golden retriever called Oliver. We had to leave him with my parents when we moved to Hong Kong for a year and when we came home with twins he was so gentle with them. Only time he ever growled was when a stranger approached them. I'm crying now xx

Aw wilsond you have reminded me so very much of the heartache of losing my beloved Golden Retriever Paddy. That was 2008 & I still miss him every day. Just so thankful for the years we shared. Monty looks so much like him, very handsome. I've got Molly now who will be 11 this year, another Golden Retriever. Beautiful breed. 🐶💖

We had a golden retriever, Frankie, who loved and was loved by everybody. We still have a photo of my 18m old son clinging to her fur and learning to walk!
