For my British friends (nothing to do with AF)

A few of you pointed out that I was having my ablation on Brexit Day making it a memorable date. My ablation happened but Brexit didn’t. When I saw this cartoon it made me think of you all. If you’re a “Back to the Future” fan I hope it brings a smile to your face.

It’s not wrong either!!

If he went to 2144 we'd still be working on it.

😂 You’re probably right

Is that like "T" still working on our 'immigrant wall'? irina

Yep except Brexit is more complicated

😂 As in you have to laugh or you'd cry!

I would love him to bring me a history book from the year 2144 - then we might have some idea what was/is going on.

Don't do the B word. Total fiasco from day one. Great joke though. Thaks Karen.

Love it Kaz, just bloody love it. Bless. Here's hoping your post op journey goes better than our bloody Brexit journey.😂😂😂😂

What`s a-fib and Brexit got in common ? Their both driving us all nuts and neither go away ;-)

Mind you - I think I would prefer a-fib to Brexit. At least I can have a cardioversion to get rid of AF ;-)

Best,

Paul

That made me laugh! Well done!

I'm substituting 'wall' for B. in your joke. And also AF is less painful! irina PS Love this humorous thread. Good for our mental health.

Oh joy oh rapture. Have just seen the spoof meme from the Olympics with 007 following her maj and saying "what all of them your Majesty?" Her reply "Yes the f*****g lot 007"

Ah, if only . . . 😀

First, congratulations on your ablation. And welcome to the club. Here's hoping for a smooth 'flight'.

Also I'm in the US and we have our own craziness going on with the Orange Toddler. So in the interest of even better heart health I am detoxing from my CNN addiction. Last night I watched NO news-just a new DVD I ordered (the Russian miniseries made in 2006 of Doctor Zhivago.) It was made for Russian TV and is 10 hours long. Have to watch a couple hours at a time. Beautifully made with English subtitles.

One of my favorite books. But, imo, the old Hollywood version is so far removed from the novel they seem like 2 different entities.

A much better Friday evening than listening to T's latest exploits. Or the infighting among the 'experts'. irina

In the US also and trying to limit my news a little more. Each day some new absurdity!! My sister and I blame the stress of T for our diagnosis of a-fib!!

in reply to dmjtanner

As good a reason as any, Add me to the list.

My a-fib arrived before tRump* but I had a premonition! LOL

* not a typo!!

in reply to

Me again. I'm doing well with my a fib..Have a great pacemaker which usually works perfectly. But when he hears the "T" word his rate goes up. LOL just kidding.

But he won't allow Fox News on the TV!!!

dmjtanner in reply to

Funny, when my friends and I text each other we only use the letter T. Kind of like Voldemort in Harry Potter.....” he who shall not be named”!

in reply to dmjtanner

When "he who shall not be named" is named, negative energy follows. I just say "the orange toddler".Have 2 great jokes if you will accept a PM!!

Go for it! Good way to see if I can figure out PM.

It was my birthday on 29th March and instead of my son and daughter-in-law ringing to sing the usual Happy Birthday song, they sang "Happy Brexit Day to you". Made me laugh.

😂😂😂 - the cartoon 😩😩😩😤😤😤😤🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😰😰😰😰😰 the event - words fail me - just as the politics have

B***** has at least proved one thing to us all, just how clueless, hopeless, useless, puerile, pathetic, vile , and corrupt liars the majority of our politicians are. God forbid they have another referendum but if they do may I make a suggestion on the questions

Burn parliament to the ground

Burn parliament to the ground with them all in it.

No prizes for which one would win but it may even get more than the record breaking turn out at the last 'once in a lifetime opportunity'.

NEVER IN THE FIELD OF POLITICS HAS SO MUCH CORRUPTION BEEN PERPETRATED ON SO MANY BY SO FEW.

I've just heard a special envoy, more wiser , decent and honest than our politicians is to sort out the mess named Kim Jong Un !

Steady on there - the Palace of Westminster is a nice building!

in reply to Maril1

When the special envoy finishes straightening out KJU will you send him across the pond to straighten out KJU's BFF? Thanks.

If they got her out of Number 10 - who would want the job?

Even if anyone did want the job - there are no Trump Cards in her pack!

(Apart from our Nadhim).

That cesspit is full of power hungry self serving delusional fantasists who would kill there own fathers if they only new who they were just to get their fork tongues around the door of no.10 .My vote goes to Churchill or Attlee even in their present state could offer more than that lot put together.
