Can someone tell me if there would be any indication of afib on a home blood pressure cuff? My cuff has a feature that shows irregular heartbeat but from what I can tell it is just an alert if the heart rate is a certain percent above or below my norm. Any good home method to tell?? Blood pressure is good and heart rate by taking pulse is always strong and steady so far.

Detection of afib?
My home cuff did sometimes show irregular heartbeat when in afib, and sometimes when not. Not very reliable. If you really want to know if you are in afib or not take a look at "Kardia Mobile". Pretty impressive bit of kit.
Hi Steven, I have one I purchased a few years ago. I think via this site.
It is a microlife WatchBP home
It shows a little man walking to the Doctors if you have AF. Mine walks every time.
The other thing it does is to take three measurements to get an average to take account of AF effects on the reading.
two fingers on your wrist?
No, I don’t do well with that. In my neck at carotid artery. Is that ok?
perfect, check out the York Cardiology youtube account for info on palpitations and loads of other AF stuff. Dr Sanjay Gupta explains things very well

Thank you so much! I will check it out
As stated above, the Kardia can give an indication of AF - and is relatively inexpensive.
I have an Apple Watch 4, which also takes ECG and can indicate AF. I think it also looks for arrhythmia.
I wear mine at night so that it can keep tabs on how well my pacemaker is maintaining my pulse rate... when the battery ran down on my last pacemaker it was in "power down mode for about nine months before my next routine appointment!
