On page 48 of today's Daily Mail there is an interesting article about a new procedure for AF which should improve the success rate of ablation.
There is also an article about the link between the heart and oesophagus on page 44 (Ask the GP) .
I'm afraid I am not computer savvy enough to link the articles to this post but they are available on line for those who have the technology and of course in print for those like me that don't!
I hope you find them interesting.

Thank you Pete. Do you give lessons in all things technical! I manage at work because I have an IT Department of over 50 willing young people but I am on sick leave at the moment so scuppered.
I am familiar with this procedure and have received info from the company. When I brought it up to my EP dr she didn't seem to be very enthusiastic regarding this. Told me she dosen't perform this procedure but another associate in same office does but also emphasized you have to be unable to tolerate blood thinner meds. I have some issues regarding blood thinners in that I itch constantly and tongue swells at times, have had considerable hair loss and can't have back surgery while on them but life threatening if I go off of them with cad. You would think that would be reason enough wouldn't you. I may ask for an apt to see the dr who does do this procedure. I am 72.
