. According to Christopher Rowland in The Washington Post, Apple have issued a caveat, in the small print that the Apple Watch 4 for AF is not for those with AF! "The latest gadget worn on the wrist is simply not accurate enough to handle the task of assessing serious medical conditions, according to health officials. It’s mostly a gateway for conversations with your doctor, and Apple’s detailed setup screens for the new watch are loaded with warnings and explanations, including one that informs people with atrial fibrillation that the Apple Watch app is not for them".
i also have an Apple Watch and I set an alert for when my HR falls below the 30's, which frequently occurs during the night. I get these alerts hours later; 'your heart rate was below 40 THREE HOURS AGO'! These are the exact words on the alert.
