It sounds as if the developers didn’t do proper research into the obvious uses and drawbacks of such a tool and the different types of clients who may need to make use of it.

I did laugh at the assertion, though that an AF detector shouldn’t be used by people with AF !!!!!! and it reminded me of a joke from Dave Allen who said he saw a notice on a door saying ‘This door is neither an entrance nor an exit’.

Sums up our social and political present - bad is good, lies are truth and black is white. 🙂

I didn't realize that you had already replied to this. The Kardia is effective, but not for bradycardia. If I'd known this beforehand I would not have purchased one.

We certainly do - especially when the weather is dreary anything to brighten up the day. I was hoping to give some trellis a second coat of stain today but too damp. I suppose I should be glad that I managed to put a coat on yesterday which dried! Looking forward to going away to see my grandsons next week but hate the thought of packing and travelling! Haven't seen them for so long.

So all those of us with PAF are taking unnecessary medications?

I guess that the Apple watch could generate a lot of new trade to the profit of the American health system, but cost our NHS more than it need.

I will stick to my Kardia Alive-Cor for an EKG at home. My Apple watch routinely tells me it is time to stand up for a while, when I've already been standing, or it tells me I should try a brisk walk when I've already walked 4 miles, so my faith in its ability to make the call on AFib is minimal :-)

I agree, I have been disappointed in the Apple3 because of inconsistencies as you describe, a way to go to perfect this technology.
