Thanks for chiming in! Were you at all discouraged during that first 4 months whi, enyou were experiencing ups and downs?
I am 6 weeks post and remaining optimistic but have, too, been experiencing some ups and downs. Was there something that distinctly happened to allowed you to turn a corner? We're or are you on any men's? Thanks.
Definitely was discouraged. I and the electrocardiologist thought it didn’t work. After 4 months things settled down. I still have a missed beat every 4th beat but I can’t feel it. But so far no more af. It’s so lovely and I sleep better. I can even have a alcohol drink or a coffee with no problems.
Thanks for your response; much appreciated. I have not ever taken meds until the flecainide post ablation and will be finishing them up this week; then the truth will be revealed! My heart rate leans toward lower than higher so really just needed the antiarrythmics for a bit...hoping for the best and, again, many thanks.
I'm 7 months post ablation for afib and flutter. I pushed things too fast in the first couplke of weeks and needed a cardiversion to settle my, then racing, heart. Since then, like you, I've been fine, as far as I can tell.
