Good Morning, what a weekend, had the headache from hell and my machine wouldn’t register my blood pressure. Was worried about my AF kicking in so was checking it. Tried on two machines both wouldn’t register. After feeling ill for 12 hours dialled 111 they told to go to a walk in centre to have blood pressure checked, the one nurse told me the blood, pressure could cause a stroke. She also said that my tablets weren’t for high blood pressure. I am on Bisoprolol as well as my flecanide. Went to hospital you thought I was asking them for a major operation. Got it done in the end. I was feeling a bit better by then they said it was just on the border so are seeing doctors at 12 today. Worrying about my AF and being ill makes you feel so low sometimes. I try to be positive but it can really get you down sometime. Must give myself a kick, feeling sorry for myself today. Feel so bruised. Ah well never mind. Hope everyone has a good day. Xxx

Cyber hugs from me.(((( )))) Don't obsess over BP please as doctors do that for us already. They keep moving the goal posts anyway so we all have to take tablets for it.
Gillybean - the effects physical & mental of having AF I know can be overwhelming at times. When you are recovering after a bad patch it is not always easy to pick yourself up when you are feeling low. You are not alone as can be seen from the various "postings" on here
I take Bisoprolol for High Blood Pressure.
