Having the same problem of my heart jumping around

Hi I had two heart attacks which left a bit of damage, but I am now having the same problem of my heart jumping around my pulse can go from a normal 68 beats to between 115 to 190. Leaving me very weak and tired with the same kind of feeling in my head.

Had a 5-day event recorder, and an echocardiogram, they suggested Increase my Bisoprolol from 2.5 mg to 5 mg and my nicorandil from 20mg twice a day to 30.

Tried it and it knocked me for six, felt so ill on the second day. Could not do anything. Had to revert back to what I was originally taking, it took a number of days before I was back to normal. Have an appointment in a couple of weeks with my cardiologist to see what they can do to stop this sudden rush.

All I can do at this time is just try and relax as I can not do anything myself, simple to say but hard to do.

Try to make sure that you stay well hydrated. Few people drink enough water and I don't mean tea or coffee both of which deplete hydration. I have found most of my bad times have been due to de-hydration.

Good luck with the appointment, why not ask about an alternative to Bisoprolol, we hear good reports about nebivolol so might be worth trying.
