Thanks for this. I suspect it is not the uphill battle it used to be. Five years ago the feeling on the forum was that NOACs were only for the brave and many surgeries only supported Warfarin.

What an amazing amount of information this link takes you to.

Yes indeed. I had been wanting to change and had a few weeks of weekly INR as I'd got out of sync somehow and nurse suggested now would be a good time to ask as unstable INR was one of the practices criteria. My GP agreed before I'd launched although I had got a letter from Dr Gupta suggesting it as I paid for a reassuring consult!!

My surgery are much more enthusiastic about the NOACs now. They were regarded with great suspicion when I first started anticoagulation.
