AFIB treatments

I have had Afib for about 10 years now. I take Fleccanaide and digitem and heart aspirin. I have had 1 ablation for a flutter and 1 cardio inversion. I also suffer from orthostatic hypertension. Just wondering about other people's treatments of Afib and how successful they have been. My Afib does not make me feel unwell or breathless but I think it is a precursor for strokes. I would like to know how successful others treatments have been.

Aspirin is not recommended for stroke prevention here in UK . You need a proper anticoagulant. Please look up CHADSVASC risk assessor and calulate your risk factors.

I can only echo Bob's comments. Unless there is a specific reason Aspirin is not beneficial for AFib. I suggest you speak with your cardiologist or GP about that and at he same time discuss with him/her regarding anti-coagulation. Regarding other treatments - if you are overweight then consider losing some of it. There have been studies that indicate that losing weight can be as, if not more, effective than an AFib ablation.
