Too tired to ..............

I have had a/f for some years, also a tentative diagnosis of C.F.S, I now have persistent a/f, I take Amlodopine, Amias, and 7.5 mg Bisoprolol, my fatigue is beyond belief, can hardly get out of bed, somedays, anyone else find that the tiredness is almost the worst aspect of this rather nasty complaint? I,m new to this forum, it,s a great help to read all the information that is posted.

Hello blueandwhite

Persistent AF makes me tired sometimes but it was the bisoprolol which made me so much worse. When I reduced it from 7.5mgs to 1.25mgs a day I felt so much better.

I expect you have had your thyroid checked, and is your weight OK?

I think that quite often with AF the treatment is worse than the condition. Perhaps ask for a review of your medication.

Agree with Oysters post totally.

I was always tired and blamed it on my AF, but it was my underactive thyroid. I take pills now and feel so much better. Have you had a blood test to check your thyroid function?

Have you sought advice re perhaps taking a lower dose of Bisoprolol? That's known for causing tiredness.

Wishing you well

Jean
