Doing great after second ablation

Had second ablation on June 22th, 2018. It’s a hell of a procedure as most of you know, but I think the docs got it this time. I have had one episode of afib that lasted 14 minutes. That was end of July. I feel so much better. Back to walking 3 miles 3-4 times per week. Just wanted you all to know there is hope. I think of everyone in this forum and everyone who suffers from afib every day.i realize it could come back at any time but current results are great! Good luck to every one of you.

Thank you so much for coming back to tell us all. Please keep on telling us how you are doing, it is so helpful to others waiting for some outcome. My EP's waiting list is now 18 months! (But I'm still not sure I want to go through with it).

Great news Singer. I had my ablation about the same time as you (19/6/18) and no Afib since. I had been in persistent afib and flutter up till then. Would recommend ablation to others but expertise of EP is critical

Good news .

I had my af ablation 29th January. Been off all drugs since may 15.

No AF since 29 January, it stopped during the ablation procedure.

That’s great that your 2nd ablation worked. I had my first 9 weeks ago and at first the first 6 weeks was great but now back to af for me. Been offered a 2nd ablation but am still getting over 1st. I hope you continue to have great results.

Great news. I’m almost 5 years free of af and like you, realise it may come back ... but enjoy each day.

Long may it continue and good luck 🍀
