Fatigue post Abalation

Hi, I am 10 weeks post 2nd Abalation. I am os Solatol 40mg bd for the blanking period also Apixiban 5mg bd. In NSR since abalation but very fatigued still and stamina for exercise is poor. Is this normal?

I think it’s not unusual Joan. If you had a GA that could be a factor but maybe you should monitor your blood pressure and heart rate for a while. If you are in NSR now, the solatol might be keeping your BP and heart rate lower that it might normally be and if so, that maybe contributing to the way you feel at the moment.

However, please do not change your medication without discussing with your Doctor because the benefits may well be greater than any short term inconvenience and it is crucial that you do not do anything that could jeopardise your ablation.......

I agree with what Flapjack has said, but will add that it took me 3 months to get back to the level of fitness pre ablation
