2 weeks ago, I woke up after 3 1/2 years in SR (4th ablation) in AF. Cardioversion was booked for tomorrow. Yesterday I woke up in SR which has been confirmed by an ECG.
My husband has a Yorkshire saying, that there's nowt queerer than folks. I say there's nowt queerer than AF.

I'm not holding my breath. Reckon this is a warning
I reckon it's all due to you coming to Ian's Natter and Nosh last Saturday. We keep telling folk it will do them good to join the group, now you have proved it! No smiley face on my laptop but promise, I'm grinning Barb......here's hoping it stays!
I won't hold my breath but I really wish that I could quantify what has happened. As far as I know I have no triggers e.g. still drinking like a fish and eating what I like but very healthy. There appears to be no rhyme or reason to my AF
Ah … but if there were rhyme or reason to it, it wouldn't be such an absorbing topic of conversation for all of us here, now would it?
… and my Dad also said, "there's nowt so queer as folk." (and he was a Brummie)
Long may NSR remain!
last time I "didn't" have a cardioversion they were wheeling the trolley to my bedside in the ward and my heart decided to convert itself. I was most impressed and back enjoying my holiday shortly after
I was sedated and ready when the nurse dropped a metal tray on the concrete floor. The doctor wasn’t very impressed, but it shocked me back into rhythm all right! Lol
