How much longer do these migraines / headaches with auras last 😳 6 weeks post op now. It’s making it hard to do my office work. When did everyone’s go?

Mine only lasted a couple of weeks and I never had the headaches, only the aura but couldn't see to read or anything when they happened. Since they are apparently caused by the transeptal puncture it would seem your heart is slow to heal. Be patient but do speak to your arrhythmia nurse if you are worried.

Agree with BobD, they should have eased by now so make contact with your Arrhythmia Nurse or the ward where it was carried out.

Hi Sillysunshine! As others have replied, I only had the auras for a few days but they are not pleasant while they last. Mention to a nurse or GP though. I’m sure they will sort you out very soon.Good luck & tell us how you progress.
