Hi guys I’ve not posted for ages but any help appreciated. I am currently on holiday in Spain and today I have had shaky arms and dizziness then this afternoon went into AF and still ropey now with mild headache. I have no medication and have not been put on any due to ME so just any advice welcome. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried self resolving methods? Holding your nose and mouth shut and trying to exhale quite hard for a few seconds.... bearing down as if to go for a poop.... massaging your carotid artery in the side of your neck?
Drink plenty of fluid and keep your legs higher than your heart until you feel less dizzy that will assist any Blood Pressure being low.
Some people also say gentle exercise takes off their AF episode.
Did you get a formal diagnosis of AF earlier this year? Are you taking an anticoagulant? You mentioned just now on the BHF site that you had a numb foot. Has that settled?
Hi oyster yes num foot and arm has gone, yes diagnosed AF in December waiting for ablation butnot too keen on that.
Could this have been a small TIA, particularly if you are not taking an anticoagulant?
Suggest you get medical advice promptly.
exactly my thought.....possibly a small TIA
Feeling better this morning so far. Just thought I would add that although feeling dizzy yesterday my heart rate was 94bpm and after reading post on here it seams most that are dizzy mention 60bpm just thought I would mention that in case anyone has felt the same. Thanks guys and sorry for rambling
