Well,hope this is the last appointment here! I had a mini stroke in November 2017,wasn't anticoagulated,but am now.
Had an MRI scan in March ,consultant wanted to have an image of my ' normal' brain to have on record in case of future events. As I didn't hear back,I rang up and spoke to his Secretary,she said she would ask him to discuss,and then I had appointment through for 3_ weeks time...today.I
I hope there s nothing sinister,surely if there was I'd have been called in before now?
Feel daft getting worked up,but hate this clinic,used to take Mum and Dad there after their strokes,same room,same consultant......

Well done for following it up - probably as you asked about the results, the consult may be the routine result of that query. I agree that hospitals and even staff can trigger old memories in us - keep tuned in to that sensible head.
Hi Wilsond I am sure if there had been any problem you would have been called back long before now, 'no news is good news' as they say .
I would guess they want to check how you are now and sign you off.
Don't 'feel daft ' most people are at least a bit apprehensive when visiting a clinic following any kind tests and particularly in your case with such a family history.

Thank you all for your kind post s,every thing was ok and have been discharged.He was incensed that I had not been anticoagulated,with 2 risk factors,plus family history of CVD,AF and stroke on both sides,for parents and grandparents.He is writing to my GP!!
worst thing was the hour and half wait as they were running late.Be prepared though,was a Girl Guide,had a fan,book,water,and an apple with me!
