I am having a bad day. In that I have chest pain when moving and it eases on excercise. Its not clear cut sowhat do I do? No need to answer, in a normal case of chest pain it would be call! However since 2002 I suffer chest pain and am on full meds etc for it. All that can be done has been. done by this time.
The rule for me if its new and different pain or if it does not go on rest or after taking gtn call. If not rest up and call my own doc if I fell the need in normal hours! Its the borderline cases, that bug me to bits.
I am not saying this to gain sympathy but to point out that in some cases hard and fast rules do not apply. The saying spouted to me "you know your own body best" , so we all in our own way go through this.
Anyone with a long term illness has to judge ourselves and ask is this time to seek help. However even homer nods so take care, listen to those around you and err on the side of caution!
I do not know if this ramble makes sense, the last time something seriously was wrong I had written it off as just the usual it was my wife who said it wasnt. She was right!
Please dont worry it could be its extra muggy today, the odds are that I wont be making the call, however if it happens at rest all bets are off! Tomorrow is another day!

I too hope tomorrow is a better day Could be to do with air pressure and it being so hot I can't honestly say You know all the replies we can give Fingers crossed you feel better soon
I agree, there's no hard and fast universal set of treatment criteria that encompass everything everyone with AF feels. Here's hoping it is resolved tomorrow!
I also agree - no hard and fast rule and we do know our body best. Not sure if ‘muggy’ refers to the weather or how you are feeling? Brain fog can also be a warning symptom that something is not quite right. It may not be an emergency but one to watch, I know I get brain fog when my sats dip or when Myasthenia flares,
No what you are going through smokie2D i also have ischeamic heart disease and Atrial fibrilation and am on max dose of all meds(23 tabs in total). Not a day goes by i don't get angina but you learn to live with it and anything out of the ordinary you prepare to take action. I must agree this weather is certainly not helping as so the winter when its cold. All the very best from a fellow sufferer.
I have a number of things that can be applicable. My Angina pain is not typical pains to add to my confusion. The pains are similar to what I have before that was blamed on the ticker. It all adds to the fun!
