I dont know what it is but I am frequently dripping in sweat. Today I had an eye test the poor optician should have worn a wet suit! It was so bad that his frame for lenses kept slipping of my face! Funny in afterthought a tad embarasing at the time! Please tell me I am not the only one!

could it be hyperhidrosis?Mostly comes on in teenagers but there are varients. My son developed it age 4.If you are middleage or older it is probably not hyper. so you may need to try your GP for answers.

They think its a mix of meds and pain! I just think I am a leaky steam engine

I get hot flushes caused by Diltiazem, quite welcome in winter but not what you want in this weather 😓

Me too!! Can be extremely embarrassing especially with the weather at the moment. Not to put too fine a point on it I have always been a bit of a sweaty person! This has got a lot worse since being diagnosed with AF. I just put it down to the AF and medication. I think Flecainide is the culprit.

No we never are, there is always other people suffering the same embarrising things that we do. However we dont get to hear it, and feel lost and alone. Just dont get me started on wind of any sort. Together we are strong, the fact that someone else suffers takes some of the pain away!

Face and head sweats are a side effect of AF. No one warned me about this when I was diagnosed and I couldn't understand why I couldn't even walk at a gentle pace in warm weather without dripping. Googled and found the reason. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about it.

I used to have an allotment; I sweated so much that one day I weighed myself before going up there, and then four hours later - when I came back home. I was about 4 lbs lighter; I told my GP about the sweating, but he shrugged it off; my face runs with it; it drips off my nose and eyebrows; it soaks my hair at the back and the front. I once dripped on a boyfriend much to my eternal embarrassment. Such a lot of things we A-fibbers suffer from. Smokie2D, you have my sympathy!
