Interesting, but I tend to lose faith in what researchers tell us. One minute they're praising one thing then it's the opposite. Like red wine, we're told it's good for us, then it's not, then it is and so on.

True- I hope they are right as I have been put on apixiban !

I guessed that and you can guess what I'm on too, hence my reply.

I saw that too, and just sighed deeply because North Wales is completely wedded to warfarin! I may start nagging the doc as I get older and the HAS-BLED score goes up...

Bob will be along in a moment to complain about them being called blood thinners. I presume the writers think that people are to stupid to understand anti coagulants.
