Well 7 30 am making a cuppa and wham palpitations hit me with a warm flush traveling through me Had to go sit down .10 minutes earlier I had drank lemon and ginger tea Thought it might kick start me It sure did that but not like I thought it would Bit of a throbbing head to

Hi vonnie hope you feeling better today !! I tripped over on Sunday got a lovely bruise on my knee must be the apixaban !!!😂

I used to get burning hot flush from toes to top of head wash over me after I had an ablation and this would lead to a total white out, not a black out but a white out. Such a weird feeling and I was totally out of it, later learned that this was in deed a precursor to passing out and my cardio was worried this could happen going downstairs, crossing a road and so on so after tests he found by heart rate, at times, to go below acceptable and hence I had a pacemaker fitted which was a Godsend.

When I first started taking Apixaban I got hot flushes similar to those I experienced when going through the menopause, I posted about it on here somewhere. According to Googe I am not alone . They seem to have settle down now

It is just like that I'm on my fourth strip of apixaban now so not been on a month Hate the palpitations knocks me for six
