Beta blockers and racing heart at night

I am new to Bisoprolol and have noticed I get vivid dreams but every few days I wake with a racing heart. This goes back to normal quickly, but frightens me. Is this normal with Beta blockers please

yup 'fraid so. I hate going to bed sometimes but there we are and so be it etc!! Most definitely the beta blocker but my gp etc says there is nothing can be done about it and it has been going on for 4-5 years now! hope this dooesn't depress you you learn to live with it.
