Half Securon and weight gain

Hi,

I have just been switched from Bisoprolol to Half Securon as I was totally exhausted on the Bisoprolol and also gained 10 kg! which is something I did not want.

I am following a healthy diet but as yet not lost 1 lb has anyone else experienced this or do I need to give the securon more time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello SilverLady, if you have only just changed your medication, maybe you are being a bit ambitious.....hopefully as your energy and activity levels improve, the unwanted 10 kg will become a thing of the past, best of luck.....

I was on 240mg of Securon and sometimes more for about twelve years and the only side effect I had was constipation.

It's harder to lose than it is to put on! I've been losing steadily since Christmas, whilst still on Bisoprolol 10mg, half a kilo a week on average.
