my husband has bouts of ectopics on and off for a few days then they settle down ,some days he has lots of these and then none at all,some of them are very strong ,is this normal . thank you

Depends upon your definition of normal. Everyone has ectopic beats but not everyone notices them or has them frequently.

Ectopic or skipped beats are not considered dangerous in anyway but when continuous they can make you feel pretty horrible. If they are particularly troublesome and very frequent then sometimes they are treated.

We AFers are particularly sensitive to them.
