It's all this you need to go hospital if you do or if this happens I am so anxious about AF.I don't do Ill.

in reply toVonnieruth

That will wear off in time.....small cuts stop bleeding fairly quickly and it apparently you are less likely to have a more serious internal bleed than with other anticoagulants.

Thanks for replying My husband says I worry too much and am not doing myself any good Anxiety is spoiling my life at the moment

in reply toVonnieruth

I don’t want to hijack Nuggers post, so why not you send your own post about your anxieties and see what happens....

You already know the problem. That’s a good start. Welcome to the Worry Club 😧 Perhaps try sitting still for a few minutes every day and ‘listening’ to your breathing. Give your mind a chance to unwind. When worries interrupt your efforts gently put them to one side by going back to focusing on your breath. Don’t aim too high, just keep practising and see if it helps. No pressure to do or to accomplish...go at your own pace. Don’t beat yourself up if you forget to do it. Be kind to yourself. I’ve been trying this for years and am still just practising but my perspective has slowly changed on some of life’s preoccupations, including my health worries.

I'm a worry wart, too, but those of us in this category need to try to look for the positive, I guess, because as you say, it can spoil your life when in worry mode all the time. All the best to you...

It’s so hard not to worry, I’m at it constantly!

But my daughter brought me a lovely rose crystal bracelet , not to wear, but just to hold to sooth me. Strange, but knowing it’s in my pocket can really calm me in times of Af and stress.

Vonnie we all love our families and want to be there for them. But when we feel unwell we just have to put ourselves first so that we can heal and get strong. And once again be that super woman Mum. I wish you well. 😊

Well, spoke with the doctor, miss communication with the receptionist, the appointment is a follow up about a skin cancer I'd had removed 2 weeks ago,she wasn't concerned about the elevated ggt figure at all !

in reply toNugger

Well hopefully all is well, best of luck

Went for a lung function teat yesterday & it was a cardiologist doing the test unwind to me,I asked her if there was a relationship between the height of the r wave on an ecg & the health of your heart & she says no,not at all,it's just that at the start of my afib the height was 3 small blocks on the kardia & now it's up to 8 ?

My wife's is around 12 but both my daughter's are only 5,any ways she was impressed with the knoledge I had & asked how I knew so much & my reply was this forum, would be lost in the woods without it,thank you all for the replies.
