Hi all, i may have asked this before and i apologize if i have.
Sometimes i will be sitting down and feel like a funny sensation from intestine left hand side (not sure if it is the heart).
Not sure what an ectopic feels like, but also i think oh here we go AF, the whole Constitution of my body changes...feels tense or stressed for about 30 mins and then this feeling subsides.
Not sure what to read into this or whether i am reading too much into it.
Anyhow hope this make sense hope all are well.

Dunno Andy...it's a not anything I have heard of before.....the trouble with us AF'ers is that we become more sensitive to all the blips, bangs, changes and sensations we feel around the heart when before, they probably happened but we didn't notice. With ectopics, you virtually feel a delayed heartbeat come on with a bang, but they don't normally carry on for 30 minutes so I'm not sure it's that. Biology is not my strong point, but intestines are fairly long and lower than the heart so really don't know. Obviously if it continues I guess you will seek proper medical advice......good luck.....
You can try peppermint, which relaxes the digestive system, so is good for all aspects of digestion except a hiatus hernia which is caused by acid reflux (Relaxing that will make the symptoms worse!)
You can try ginger which is also good for the digestive system, especially wind of the kind which is normally relieved by burping. It has also been reported recently to help prevent nausea in particular.
You can try L-glutamine, which is prevalent throughout the body, but which is particularly important for the intestines as it feeds the villi, thus improving our ability to digest food and healing up the system, and so helping to overcome food allergies.
You can try flax seed oil, which is very soothing to the intestine.
All these can be taken just when you have a problem, to see if it solves it. It may be better not to take ginger regularly, as it does have some 'blood thinning' properties. With all these I recommend starting with the minimum dose, just to try. It is also cheaper that way!
You can also try taking digestive enzymes with any meal you think may be difficult to digest, especially fatty ones.
Probiotics taken regularly will help your digestion.
Betaine hydrochloride provides the stomach with additional stomach acid which is good for some of us older ones who produce less, but if it causes a burning sensation then drink some milk to neutralise it and conclude that you don't need any extra! If you need it then it will help your digestion, which in turn should improve your absorption of vitamins/minerals and food generally, which can in turn improve your health - and AF!
All these are worth a try - one at a time - and can be bought from either Nature's Best or Higher Nature, or you can try a health food shop. If the problem is minor then I would try the peppermint first!
