Went in to afib on 16 Feb ,saw cardiologist on 19th & he put me on 6.25 MG carvedilol twice a day,my heart rate was 137, now I'm up to 25mg twice a day & heart rate still up in 130s,so my question is, what's the point of taking it if it's doing nothing ?

I also take eliquis 5mg twice a day

Are you on the list for cardioversion ? Betablocker s do very little if anything for me which is why I was cardioverted. Perhaps you could ask cardio or secretary for advice?
