Apple watch and AF

As far as I know I don’t seem to suffer much from background AF, at least - every time in between any significant PAF attacks, I have not been exhibiting AF on any ECGs. The Apple watch - I know it Is being used by some academics in heart research trials - my question is does anyone know of any instances of the apple watch CAUSING AF? I’m thinking of buying the series 3 NON cellular model. (BTW, I use an apple ipad pro 12.9 and the magnetic keyboard and I ahve found that I need to keep them at least 12 inches from my body otherwise my heart will give a few ‘bumps’ to alert me to the fact I am using it too close).

Do these devices really cause AF?

I'm very worried if they do?

I don’t know that they do, but I had seen online that a couple of folks had stopped wearing them as they experienced tachycardia whenever they did.
