I’ve been in af for several years on and off and apart from following cardioversions when I felt great I feel the same. Rubbish in the mornings breathless and tired slight improvement durinfpg the day. I’m just wondering whether it’s my meds I take at7 am which are causing it? 25 mg beta blockers for one?

There are many posts from members who say they are convinced that it is their medication which causes them to feel unwell. We are not medically trained so cannot make any specific comment about medication but many here have said they feel better if they take their medication at night. I suggest you discuss this with your doctor and also ask about alternatives, of which there are many.

Ah... OK. Do you know why you are taking this drug? My understanding is that is quite a complex drug.

As Flapjack says we cannot offer advice, just personal experience.

The question is would you be better or worse with an adjustment to your meds and that is something only your doctor can advise you on.

May I suggest you drill down as the reasoning for prescribing and only when you understand both benefits and risks for taking a medication are - decide whether you are better off with or without.

Every condition and every medication affects people very differently.
