I am post ablation now, i had ist instead of psvt so they could only modify so much. I already feel better in my heart but it only has a short term success rate for me because it is my natural pacemaker. I remembered a lot... apparently having thc in your system can really screw with anaesthesia, my chest hurt so bad i was crying until they finally gave me the max dose of sedation. Unfortunately ist only has a short term relief rate so medication doesnt help, they will be puttin a pacemaker in me which my ep doesnt want to do because I'm only 24. I was petrified, but i feel so much better already minus heavy legs from laying down for so long. I am still in the hospital because of complications to the sedation, but i would say it was worth it....no walking for me for a minute though...

My ep was very careful cause over modulation can cause a need for a pacemaker.

I am glad to hear that you are feeling a little better. I hope your recovery continues to go well.

I am 37 and have Afib. These past few days have been the most difficult days of my life. I am extremely weak, feel lightheaded from the poor blood circulation and from restless nights, and now am experiencing frequent urination at night- which leaves me feeling like I've run a marathon. Last night I felt like almost giving up on life. I am scheduled to have an ablation next month, but not sure if I can make it. Praying to God for strength.
