Speak to your dentist about when to stop your anticoagulant. Usually night before and re- start next day but whatever your medical team advise.

I had a wisdom tooth out last year. My dentist refused to do it because I was on Rivaroxaban and referred me to hospital. The hospital dentist did not need me to stop the medication, and I had no bleed issues.

My dentist removed one of my teeth last year. Told him i was on edoxaban and had af.

He just said that he'd use a non adrenaline injection and that i might bleed more than normal. The reality was that the bleeding stopped pretty quickly

I told the dentist that my cardiologist recommended adrenaline free anaesthetic; he said that was a bad idea as the adrenaline holds it to the tooth, it would wear off too quickly. I ended up with a reduced adrenaline injection, which had to be toped up half way through.
