Had a Cardioversion December 19 was doing ok until this past Monday 1/22/18 when I went back into tachycardia. It really is bumming me out. How do others handle this?

heller29 , I can't offer any personal experience on this, but have you noticed that there are 'Related Posts' listed top right? There may be helpful insights amongst those.

It’s very distressing isn’t it, what is your heart rate? Have you seen an Electrophysiologist about an ablation. I believe tachycardia is easier to treat than AF. If not I would try to get a referral as soon as you can. Had tachycardia after my last ablation for about 3 months with a rate around 120 permanently. It reverted spontaneously about 6 months ago for some unknown reason although I did put it down to sorting out a very bad tooth infection. Hope you get sorted soon.

I actually had an ablation previous to the cardioversion however after feeling tons better- that did not last and I went into atrial flutter. I could had another ablation at that time but I felt it was too soon so I tried cardioversion.

Thanks for your reply.
