Hi everyone, First of all the surgery went smoothly and successfully. Unfortunately a day after I got home developed a fever, cough, went to the ER and was diagnosed with the Flu. Was put on meds, discharged today, am on the mend. Am really sleepy not much rest in hospital sowill get back with everyone in a day or too when I catch up on some sleep. Goodnight. Take care everyone, Willdo my best to answer questions about the procedure and how things went for me. Happy it's done and I am beginning the other side of thr Coumadin trip. irina1975

The worst possible time to catch flu - poor soul. I hope you feel better soon - remember to rest, rest and rest. We look forward to hearing about your Watchman and life after anticoagulants.

Hi Irina what rotton luck catching the flu , still the good thing is your procedure is over and there is everything for you to look forward to now.
I would eat lots of vitamin c containing fruit to help with the flu and I hope to read about your progress with the Watchman very soon
