I’ve been diagnosed with afib a month ago and have been taking 50mg flecanide but afib continues weekly so today increased to 100mg and within a few hours I was very agitated and angry. Is this a possible side affect of the increase?

Not one I am familiar with but drugs affect everyone differently.
I also increased from 50mgx2 to 100mgx2 daily, which stopped the AF, angry no, but due to all the appointments and tests very anxious, which didn't settle down for 3 months and after starting Mg and CoQ10 supplements.
Sorry it took so long to resolve, I had my dr appt yesterday, EKG the day after the increase, all good, they said it may be a temporary effect due to the increase.
After the increase on day one, I anxious and lost my temper, which hasnt happened in a while, but thankfully by evening and the next day much better.
Ultimately a strange feeling lasting most of one day only.
I hope this corrects the afib.
