Lyrica (pregabablin) works well and will have no effect on AFib. Start with 75mg twice daily and titrate up if needed. Side effects are mostly nuisances and worth it if pain is severe.
You will have to speak to your GP about pain relief and what he can supply. I have AF and need pain relief I am prescribed Solpadol 30mg codiene and 500mg paracetamol. Ibrobrufen is a no no. There must be others for severe nerve pain but GP will know. What heart drugs are you on.

Narcotics including codeine generally don't work very well for neurological pain. It is
a difficult problem with few good solutions.
I have had 30/500 codiene / paracetamol and it does not work for me the drug the cardiologist put me on is verapamil and it interacts with tramadol and I can't take the other heart medication I was on something starting with d it gave me severe migraines that's why I'm on verapramil the neurologist I saw for the nerve pain years ago gave me the amitriptyline but now I have afib they won't let me up the does and even on the 10mg I take my heart flutters sometimes so I can't up it but it does help with the migraines I get as I have four slipped discs in my neck
I have been on Pregabalin 75mg (2 per day) for 6 months. Been ok with PAF and Warfarin. Had a ganglion growing in my leg, pressing on the nerve causing pain and foot drop. Since had ganglion removed. Foot drop not resolved as yet. But pain eased and now weening myself off the Pregabalin. Couldn't take Amitriptyline as I am on Dronedarone.
