Frontiers radio ablation

I am going for an ablation on Monday and my EP said he uses frontiers radio ablation which has more success rate than the regular RF and. Cryo. Just wondering if anyone had this one done?

Must admit to having a little titter at the word 'frontiers'. The thought of cowboys and Indians came to mind, yes I know I'm a very silly person!

When I had my first radio frequency ablation (have had three in total) I was asked (jokingly) if it was carried out using the local radio station. It made me laugh.

I think this just uses modified equipment so not sure people would know if it had been used during their ablation- may well be wrong??

I have not come across this term before but suspect it is just the equipment not the procedure.

My EP used RF as he says he prefers it, who am I to argue? All EP's are different and will have a preference for how they work.
