I am really struggling getting holiday Insurance & considering going without for 7 weeks holiday. to Portugal. I believe all my conditions are stable but as I have only been on Edoxaban for 6 weeks I worry that I may get side effects such as bleeds . Any experience of bleeds & how long into treatment.

Help appreciated. I need to decide soon.

After weeks of searching every company under the sun I have got it booked with Staysure. Do be able to use them I have had to rebook a flight . We go away for approximately 7-8 weeks on our first trip & just under 3 months on our second trip . up to & including age 70 they will do an extension on one trip for around £30 . That left the first trip . I had flights originally booked with Monarch & that would have fitted in the 50 days . However when they went bust I had to rebook . I rebooked and it made the trip 51 days .I didnt know my previous insurer who covered 90 days would nt cover my new conditions.

Stress over for this year. I am now an expert on who Insurance companies trip limits. If I can remember.
