Flying after Ablation

I believe protocol here in the U.K. says no flying for 2 weeks after Ablation, how do others feel about this? Should it be longer or is this just right.

Never heard this before. Nobody ever told me that. On the basis that you need to rest and do nothing for the first two weeks ideally it depends on what you are flying. Full aerobatic is probably a bad idea but if you mean as a passenger on an airline so long as you stay well hydrated I don't see why not. Ask your EP.

I'm 3 days post Ablation and I specifically asked my EP. I was told there isn't an issue flying.

I flew to Saville about 10 days after my ablation, wasn't a problem for me and my EP knew all about it.

You may have a problem with your travel insurance if you are honest with them. Not sure I would have been confident over leaving the country so soon. I would have waited at least 3 months until the next visit with the EP.
