Bisoprolol j mannion

I was on Bisoprolol after Ablation for six months and never felt right. So my Gp agreed to me changing to Atenolol as I do not get bad side effects as I did with Bisoprolol. So think trying Atenolol would be worth a try.

Nothing to lose Mike, so worth a try.

Why haven't you been given a chance of being totally drug free? I thought ablation was a route to no meds? I only had my first ablation done as I couldn't tolerate the beta blockers.

It is a route to medication free, but, you have to re-train your heart not to rely on all the tabs you have been taking. I used yo take 300mg flecanide and a 25mg atenolol, can't just stop taking them! I still take the atenolol and my edoxaban, but am down to just a 100mg of the flecanide. I feel great. Don't think I would've been comfortable after the ablation to be completely drug free.
