Hi Kbarnet77 :-) I take Apixaban and there is a card within each box of tablets along with the instructions. I think this is the case with most anticoagulants.

Depends upon which anti-coagulant you take. Otherwise print one off - that's what I did.

I wear a plastic wrist band for the drug I'm on. Got it from Amazon.

Ask for one when you have your next blood test.

You can get medical ID jewellery, wristbands etc from a very efficient company at theidbandco.com.

Hi KB :-) like Jenny I purchase a silicone wrist band from theidbandco.com. I found the company helpful, speedy and the band reasonably priced.

The silicone band with an engraved disk is waterproof and I wear it all the time . It makes me feel more secure because I live alone and walk a lot with my dog in the fields and have no where to carry a card which may not easily be found in a pocket anyway.

When I was put on apixaban by my GP he said an anti-coagulation nurse from the NHS would be in touch to chat over any issues I may have. After I'd spoken to her on the phone, she said they'd send me a card in the post. I mentioned that I got a card with my medication, but she said I needed the standard yellow one which is what the paramedics look out for. I think you need to check back with your GP.
