had Alive cor installed 2 years ago when I had AF, had ablation 18 months ago and need to take heart rate again, not used Kardia for around 6 months now

No signal - not reading heart rate even though I'm using it properly, wifi on, blue tooth on, on iPhone

@Leah. The black plastic should be in a slide fitting glued on the back of your phone, open at one end with little spring clips. Once out of that holder, turn it over and the battery compartment is obvious.

It needs a jewellers screw driver so best take it to a watch shop or somewhere like Timsons.

If it's the same model as mine ,slide it out of the case and turn it over. The opening for the battery is there ( you'll need a sharp object to open it ) . The battery is a 3.0V model CR 2016 coin cell battery . Bought mine from Sainsbury's- £5 for 2.

Hope this helps

I've changed my battery and my AliveCor is still not working. I've lost the paperwork, does anybody know who could have a look at it for me please?

Contact the Kardia help line after you check the battery is in the correct way, the electrodes are not damaged, try using an alcohol gel to improve contact and the signal strength is strong between the Kardia and device you are using.

Unless you send it back to them I am not sure there is anyone you can take it to to look at - most people have never come across one. Representatives are often present at AF Patient Days - but the next one isn't until October.

One other thought - which device are you using and does the app need updating or the OS?
