Hi after having my first pacing check since pacemaker fitted in Feb, due to tachy-Brady syndrome with permanent A.F. They have decided to up medication because of rapid AF . I am now taking 75mg of Bisoprolol daily + warfarin + now 240mg Diltizem I wonder if anyone else is taking Diltizem & what effect it has.

Sorry hit a nerve there. I took one pill and thought I was dying. Others love it so as per normal we are all different.

Diltiazem slows everything down! I found 240 was too much for me but 120 was OK, we all differ so see how you go.

I take Diltizem CD (240mg slow release) , I do have a very slight water retention in the feet , not noticeable but I feel like theres a little pillow on top of the arch. This only happens once or twice a month and compression stockings seem to relieve the feeling.

Besides that theres nothing different I have noticed.
