More bisoprolol

I've been in AF for about 30 hours I think. I've got the irregular fast heart beat and the clammy feeling I get. I take 3.75 bisoprolol a day, all in one go about 6pm. My doctor told me I could take up to 10 so I'm thinking of taking another 1.25 in the morning, what do people think?

I'm one of a very few who think extra doses of beta blocker CAUSE more arrhythmia. But I'm in the minority. Check with doctor. Good luck.

This is a toughie given GP's will be closed oer Easter. Does your AF warrant a call to NHS Direct or the nearest open Walk in clinic?

Until you speak to your GP I suggest you take advantage of family and friends because you have an "irregular heart rhythm that is not currently managed by medication". I walk around at home hamming it up. Easing up on stressful activities will help your

The side effects of Bisoprolol are worth looking up. The stronger the dose the more severly experienced the side effects in my experience.
