Can anyone please confirm how easy it is transferring to Apixaban from Warfarin. Does anyone regret changing?

Changing to Apixaban
Easy Peasy and no regrets whatsoever. I spent every week up anticoagulant clinic as could not get in range. Lovely to be able to eat all my veggies again too. The clinic get your range down to a certain level, can't remember but I think about 1.5 and you then start taking the Apixaban.

Very easy. They say just stop the warf for 2 days if you are in the normal 2-3 inr and start the NOAC.
I think I had to be below 2 INR- it has been great no problems at all
Very simple....stop one and start the other under medical direction!
You can eat what you like (healthy) and no blood tests and for me was a godsend!
Cheers

No problems here; changed from Warfarin about a year ago. Not having to have blood tests is great. My INR would jump up and down sometimes and was always a concern which I now don't have.I was changed mainly though because I expressed concern at having a brain bleed and was told Apixaban is less likely to cause one.
Thank you everyone. Looking forward to a big plate of sprouts at Christmas.
Why wait??
Why wait?? For the sprouts!!
Super easy to stop Warfarin. Apixaban is great, eat everything all the time... yaaay!!!
I was on Apixiban for a year but still developed a clot in my heart which showed up when they were starting an ablation. That was last September and I was changed to warfarin as it is a more aggressive thersapy and my EP said that hopefully it would melt the clot away. I am due to return for a TOE in April to see if it has gone and then my EP will ablate. He said without the warfarin it was pointless to try ablation. So that's how it is for me. I didn`t mind which one except for the blood test but my INR is steady on 2.5.
Apixaban is great. Although my cardiologist said if I ever needed another ablation his anticoagulant choice pre op would be warfarin.
No problems except for feeling cold all the time. No anti coag clinic every month eat what I want I am on 2.5mg A.M. and P.M the change over was uneventful
I had to change as my as my I N R was jumping wildly about
