Drugs following ablations

I have had af and atrial flutter for 2 years since I had a hole in the heart repaired. In December I had a AVNRT ablation which was a partial success according to the EP doing the procedure. Went back to congenital heart clinic, where they did not have the notes from The ablation, but they said as it's a partial success I can stop the Riveroxiban, does this sound right? I thought I would be on these for life.

I agree with you. There is no reason to think that your stroke risk is any less now than before the ablation. If your chads score warranted it before that hasn't changed. The is no hard evidence to the contrary and many of us prefer to stay on anticoagulation regardless of success , especially "partial success" whatever than means.
