Hi has anyone had an ablation with Dr Gupta in Liverpool, Broad Green hospital? And did you have any problems afterwards? Thanks

I had my ablation there, but under Dr Todd. Great hospital.

Hello Dawnstorm,

Dr Gupta and his team performed my Pulmonary Vein Ablation August 2014...

It was a long process almost 6 hrs and l was pretty sore afterwards mainly due to difficulty obtaining access to left atrium..This is not a common occurrence apparently so no need to concern yourself...

Dr.Gupta has given me almost three years free from the most debilitating AF and l cannot thank and praise him enough...

I had a PVI done there on the 31st Jan, but by Dr Hall, although I did meet Dr Gupta when I was on the ward afterwards. The care received at LHCH was outstanding could not fault it, a superb hospital. I agree with caromia, I was a bit sore and bruised afterwards but feel so much better now even if it is early days. hope this helps,
