Before someone posts a helpful reply to my query re above, I must point out that Scotland, which is 12 miles away from me on the north coast of Northern Ireland, can be seen from my living room window so the distance information on the site isn't really an indication of how accessible some people are to me.

Gosh, I was convinced you were Cushendall or Cushendun. Don't know why. I could nearly see you from here, (Portstewart), if it wasn't for the headland.

Yes - I recognised a familiar horizon! The sea god statue is on Bishops Road, about halfway between your son's house and mine. Windyhill is slightly to the east of there.

Yes, we are so lucky to live here, a fact which I keep reminding myself of on the couple of times a year when the waves crash over our roof and I'm scared skinny.

This whole coast is beautiful and we never tire of it. Only drawback is that others have discovered it and on weekends we are inundated with tourists.
