Sorry don't do photos. I have four plus a feral I feed. Farmhouse cat called Nell, little black one (her daughter) Ally, Eddie like yours who is about 14 now and Pete who is a blonde ginger (sable colour) who is five. All rescue cats from the cat sanctuary up the lane. The feral she-cat we call Sheba lives in the copse next door and was skin and bone till I started leaving our lots non eaten food out and now she is looking much healthier.

Back in Essex before we moved to Devon I had three feral borne cats who I rescued from a bunker next to my race shop when they were kittens. Edmund Queenie and Baldrick they were. Died quite young around 12 years old all of them.

You know the old saying. Own a dog to make you feel like a god and a cat to remind you that you aren't.

My boys were rescue too...the only cats I've ever chosen...every other cat I've loved had turned up as a stray! x

Lovely cats, and the garden too.

We've got numerous dogs, so no cats for us. Got loads of ferral cats around us though, mostly very small and jet black.

What fab cats and a beautiful garden. Trust me, you will win the fight and take back control of your life. When you hit the bottom, the only way is up and somehow being at the bottom can kick start some action. Most people on this forum have been in a dark place at some part of the A.F. journey. I certainly have, but I can now say that with the help of folk on here, I now enjoy a different but nevertheless a good life. Taking co ntrol is key.

Come on here and let vent,ask questions or just be a passive reader of comments. You will get there. X

Thank you so much dedeottie...that's the plan, just needing some professional help which is not forthcoming...been pondering today on my last three housebound months and concluded that had I been in prison, I would no doubt now be treated well and probably fit, certainly wouldn't have been left alone and struggling for this long...just goes to show the priorities hey? :/ x

Your cats are beautiful I am sure they give you lots of reasons to live as a pet loves you unconditionally they are always there for you never let you down so I am sure you will live a long happy life for them xx

Than you Mazza...they were traumatised as kittens before I had them so they are extremely special and need careful love and caring...spooked by the slightest sound...no one will love the like I do, so I must be here for them...I can go when they've gone..they are just 4 and half now..so hope l last for quite a while! Love cats..every single one of them

We have a jack Russell he is 13 now and we say the same no one can look after him like we do only another animal lover understands xxxx

We had to have our two Jack Russell dogs, brothers, put down last year 😢. They were 20, been with us since 8 weeks' old. Such characters.
