Hi ive just been told that my iron levels are a bit high, ive been getting a lot of small episodes the only big one I had was 3 years ago, just read up on my iron levels and this can cause an arrhythmia ,any one else suffer from this please

Personally no but we had a member on the original forum who had Heamachromatosis- i think that is what he said--? ( body retaining and storing iron) and this was given as the reason for his AF. I understand that the condition is very rare but that it can result in cardiac arrhythmias as well as other organ failures as the cells fill up with iron to the exclusion of normal function.
